Drew Chandler is Woodford County's Emergency Management Agency Director. He joined in 2003 as a volunteer and was later hired as a part-time Deputy Director until being appointed to lead the organization in 2015 by former Judge/Executive John "Bear" Coyle. Chandler became a full-time Director in 2021 with expanded responsibilities in employee health and safety, grants, and telecommunications. Concurrently with his time at WCEMA, Drew held related positions with the Kentucky Department for Public Health's Emergency Preparedness Branch (2006-2014) and the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services (2014-2021).
